Market2Me is operated by Market2Me (Pty) Ltd, Cape Town, South Africa. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

We collect the following information when you use our platform: your name, email address, phone number and location when you register; booking details including event date, type, venue and brief; payment information processed securely through our payment provider; freelancer application information including portfolio links, experience and rates; and usage data such as pages visited and actions taken on the platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process and manage bookings; communicate with you about your account or bookings; verify freelancer applications and maintain platform quality; improve the platform and user experience; send you relevant updates or notifications about your bookings; and comply with our legal obligations.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only in the following circumstances: with the freelancer or client involved in a confirmed booking so they can communicate and prepare; with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform such as email and payment processors; and when required by law.

Your data is stored securely. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Under POPIA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; object to how we process your information; and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Market2Me is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
